The Cordless Planer - P18DSLQ4 from Metabo HPT is a powerful and convenient tool that offers fade free power, longer battery life, and lighter weight thanks to its Lithium Ion battery power. With a cutting width of 3-1/4" and a cutting depth of up to 5/64", this cordless planer can reach a no-load speed of 16,000 RPM. Despite its power, the ergonomic design of this tool keeps it lightweight at 7.3 lbs, making it comfortable and easy to use.

The P18DSLQ4 also features a battery charge indicator light that alerts users when the battery is running low, helping to reduce unexpected downtime. This cordless planer is available as a tool body only, and is compatible with all of Metabo HPT's 18V Lithium Ion slide-type batteries, which are sold separately. Additionally, it is covered by Metabo HPT's Lifetime Lithium Ion tool warranty.

In terms of safety, this cordless planer comes with a stand attached to the rear side, which prevents accidental contact with the blade when not in use. The soft grip handle also provides improved comfort and less fatigue during use.
